Ron Hull Demolition recently completed the Asbestos Removal & Demolition of Crinoline House for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.

The removal of asbestos and subsequent top-down demolition of the 7 storey, 30 year old building was completed over 36 hours, ensuring minimal disruption to the centre of Rotherham, reducing the building to 5,000 tons of rubble, all of which was processed in Ron Hull Jnr’s new Zero Waste To Landfill recycling depot at “Mangham 80″ in Parkgate, Rotherham, ensuring that absolutely everything will be recycled, and nothing will be wasted.

Ronald Hull Jnr ltd have always been committed to reporting scrap metal thefts and ensures that all our scrap is legally owned by the person presenting through our strict recording and reporting controls. However, we are proud to re-affirm our ongoing commitment by signing up to Operation Tornado.

Operation Tornado involves working alongside the Police, British Transport Police and the Environment Agency – all wholly committed to reducing metal thefts which currently cost the UK economy over £750 million per year.

Operation Tornado ensures that all persons disposing of metals for cash payments must produce:

1. UK photocard driving licence (includes address) OR
2. UK passport or original passport from any nationality, or official national identity card and in each case supported by a utility bill (which must be no older than 3 months to the current date) showing the scrap metal seller’s current address

Ronald Hull Jnr Ltd will record each document (passport, driving licence and a utility bill) presented by obtaining a copy, which will be retained for inspection by the Police and other agencies. The photo ID will be required to be presented on each and every transaction. The ID will be copied, either physically or electronically, and stored with the record of transaction for a minimum period of 12 months.

Following the opening of the Ron Hull Junior Ltd.’s new Mangham 80, Zero Waste to Landfill Facility,  the Ron Hull Group has today taken delivery of  100 x 8 cubic yard front end loader skips to kickstart a new waste collection service to keep up with customer demands and expand on its already diverse range of  waste management collection solutions to both commercial and domestic customers.
