£295 Raised for Macmillan Cancer Support

Working in partnership with Centrica, Ron Hull Demolition Ltd are currently carrying out the Decommissioning and Demolition of Roosecote Power Station in Cumbria.

A key stage of the project is the explosive demolition of the main structure and exhaust stack. It was discussed with the project team that individuals would be able to donate a sum of money for the placing of a marker on the ground where they felt the top of the stack would end up.

The explosives event took place on 27 January 2015 and the project team of Centrica and Ron Hull Demolition Ltd raised a brilliant £295 which has been donated to the worthwhile Charity Macmillan Cancer Support.

Furniture Donation!

During the recent Demolition project at Roosecote Power Station, Ron Hull Demolition Limited donated a large amount of unwanted furniture to local ‘St Mary’s Hospice’ in Ulverston.

The amount raised for a fantastic cause was a huge £1200!

A team from the Ron Hull Group completed a 40 mile Charity Bike Ride in aid of Children with Cancer in late 2013. The gruelling ride followed the path of the River Trent from Gringley-on-the-Hill, passing through Gainsborough, Owston Ferry towards Scunthorpe then back!

Among the Ron Hull team was Health and Safety Managers Mick White and Kevin Clarke, ex Commercial Director David Wall, Destruction Manager Dennis Welbourn and Business Development Assistant Oli White.
Overall the group managed to raise in excess of £900 for a well-deserved charity!
